Description:

Summary:

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests, team members, the company and their property. Provide outstanding guest service to guests with questions and/or concerns.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide protection for the casino and its team members and guests

  • Guard all transfers of moneys and tokens on the casino floor and transport hopper fills, chip fills and credits

  • Complete all incident reports pertaining to outside patrol issues

  • Escort armored car personnel around the property

  • Escort trespassing individuals off property

  • Assist guests in locating lost vehicles

  • Maintain bicycle in operating condition

  • Investigate auto accidents

  • Secure the operations office during in-custody situations

  • Answer guest questions, provide directions to guests (escort guests to desired location, if possible), and assist guests with any challenges that the guest brings to attention

  • Duties include outside bike patrol, vehicle patrol and interior patrol of casino and hotel

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • At least one year of law enforcement, military or EMT experience highly preferred

  • Excellent guest service skills

  • Proven experience using sound judgment and making appropriate decisions during challenging situations and/or interacting with challenging patrons

  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft operating system and applications preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals and ability to write routine reports and correspondence

  • Able to attend and successfully complete all quarterly firearms training and annual security recertification training

  • Compliance with all mandatory training courses and certifications on an annual basis

  • Must be able and willing to successfully complete Title 31 annual training

  • At least 21 years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English; written, verbally and via portable radios

  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

  • Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 75 lbs.

  • Regularly walk, stand, stoop or sit at a desk or table

  • Ability to jog or run as situations dictate

  • Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding and ramps

  • Ability to ride a bicycle for an extended period of time

  • Must maintain 300 lbs. or less weight limit, including uniform (based on published maximum weight limit of company-provided bicycle, as determined by bicycle manufacturer)

  • Ability to drive motor vehicles

  • Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail

  • Speech, literacy, hearing and vision (critical)

  • Ability to distinguish shades of color
