THE ROLE

Insomniac is seeking a motivated and well-organized individual to fulfill the role of R2 Database Administrator at our warehouse located in Las Vegas. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking inventory movement, and ensuring the efficient flow of products within the organization. The ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team is essential for this position. This role involves data management, inventory analysis, and collaboration with various departments to optimize inventory processes. This is not a remote position and required to work fully in in office, in our Las Vegas, NV location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels

  • Record inventory moves, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory

  • Create and maintain spreadsheets, including google sheets

  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering emails, and assisting other departments

  • Support in leading, guiding, and training staff/student employees, and interns perform related work; may participate in the recruitment of support staff, as appropriate to the area of operation

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Recruit, hire, train, onboard and schedule employees timely and within compliance

  • Other tasks and projects as assigned and needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years experience in a warehouse and/or administration

  • Forklift certified is preferred but not required

  • Must be competent in problem-solving issues related to mobile devices as well as Mac and PC

  • Must be proficient in MAC, Google, and Microsoft operating systems

  • Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Must be able to think through, evaluate and solve problems logically and efficiently

  • Must have exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Must conduct all matters and communications in a professional and courteous manner as a representative of the company

  • Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Prolonged periods of standing in the warehouse at a mobile desk while tracking trucks

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times

  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments

  • May work in drastic temperature climates while on site at events and venues

  • Must be willing to frequently work and travel to events during holiday, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines and work events

Hiring Hourly Rate: $17.00 USD

It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Nevada or perform the position from Nevada. Similar positions located outside of Nevada will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Insomniac takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
