We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a broad range of human resources functions, from recruitment to payroll. You will also be tasked with implementing various HR strategies and systems across the organization. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with our overall business strategy

• Oversee and manage our performance appraisal system to drive high performance

• Implement and manage the Paylocity HRIS system for various HR functions

• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital

• Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring we attract and retain the best talent

• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization

• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

• Manage employee records, recruitment, and hiring data utilizing the Paylocity system

• Use skills such as ADP Workforce Now, HRMS, About Time, and Benefit Functions to enhance the HR processes and procedures

• Handle employee relations issues, ensuring a harmonious workplace.

  Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist & Payroll Specialist

• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures

• Good knowledge of employment/labor laws

• Outstanding knowledge of an HRIS system such as Paylocity, Workday, Paycom, or UKG or ADP Workforce Now

• Understanding of Benefit Functions within a corporate setting

• Proven track record with MS Excel, specifically VLOOKUPs

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Aptitude in problem-solving

• Additional HR training or certification will be a plus.
