Robert Half HR Coordinator in Las Vegas, Nevada

Description We are looking for a skilled HR Coordinator to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the industry, providing essential support to our Human Resources department. As an HR Coordinator, you will be expected to utilize your skills in Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Excel, and Typing over 60 WPM, among others, to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports as needed.

• Display fast turnaround skills in responding to HR-related inquiries and issues.

• Practice good phone etiquette when communicating with employees, potential candidates, and other stakeholders.

• Type over 60 WPM to efficiently complete tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and email correspondence.

• Assist in coordinating HR projects such as meetings, training, surveys to boost employee engagement and productivity.

• Collaborate with the HR team to streamline the hiring process, including the review of resumes, conducting initial phone screens, and scheduling interviews.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on HR policies and regulations and ensure compliance across all operations.

• Assist in the creation and implementation of effective onboarding plans.

• Participate in organizing company events and careers days.

• Contribute to the attainment of specific HR targets and objectives. Requirements • Demonstrated ability to execute tasks with a fast turnaround time

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites

• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

• Typing speed of over 60 words per minute

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Experience in HR coordination or similar role preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

• Knowledge of HR systems and databases

• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures

• Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills

• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

• In-depth knowledge of HR best practices

• Demonstrated ability to oversee all HR initiatives, systems, and tactics

• Prior experience with HR metrics and HR analytics

• Proven experience with Human Resources Management Systems applications

• Ability to design and implement HR strategies that align with the business strategy

• Capacity to nurture a positive working environment

• Ability to handle personnel issues and disputes

• Demonstrated experience with performance management and employee engagement

• Experience in developing fair HR policies and ensuring employees understand and comply with them.
