Job Title: Electro Mechanical Maintenance

Job Description

This position works independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. This position is responsible for troubleshooting issues, repairing malfunction of production and facilities equipment, and ensuring maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks will be performed while supporting the company's policies, goals, and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repairs and maintains plant machinery and equipment such as Extruders, Dryers, Mixers, Feeders, Pelletizers, Compressors, Pumps, etc.

• Repairs or replaces control devices such as switches, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, thermocouples, etc., as needed.

• Performs preventive maintenance and calibration procedures on equipment.

• Maintains organized maintenance records filing system (service records, maintenance records, monthly inspection checklists).

• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists production team members in solving work problems.

• PLC programming and troubleshooting

• Tests proper operation of equipment.

• Performs basic carpentry, light plumbing, and other trades as may be required to support the facility.

• Initiates purchase orders.

• Performs maintenance work order repairs, inspections, calibrations, and adjustments.

• Completes (closes out) maintenance work order tickets in CEBOS.

• Able to set up and operate welder, drill press, grinder, hand tools, and other metal working equipment.

• Fabrication and modification of new and existing equipment.

• May be called on during off-shift for emergency breakdowns.

• Fulfills all work functions in accordance with established work instructions, policies, and company safety policies.

• Must follow OSHA regulations.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

Work Environment

Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday (6:00am - 3:00pm)
