Summary

The Coordinator - Dock is responsible for the processing of inbound and outbound equipment for the purpose of flawless execution of events. This role will be directly responsible for the daily processing and staging of inbound and outbound rental equipment in accordance to procedure(s) to ensure integrity is maintained in our reservations and equipment readiness. This position requires teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.

This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work directly with all warehouse teams to ensure completed equipment orders are properly staged and ready for loading

  • Direct all truck loading processes to ensure safe, balanced and properly secured cargo

  • Assist Transportation team to release completed trucks

  • Assist inbound and outbound teams with sorting of equipment, including Sub-Rentals and Equipment Transfers

  • Escalate Missing or Damaged Equipment

  • Escalate space constraints to warehouse management

  • Assist in Training/development of warehouse staff

  • Ensure sound safety and risk policies and procedures through all areas of operation

  • Promote teamwork and communication between all warehouse operations

  • Assists other department heads as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proven ability to lead with vision, strategic thinking and hands on experience

  • Ability to influence and inspire action with a focus on driving business results

  • Must be an innovative problem solver with the ability to deal quickly and effectively with issues

  • Demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teams and large programs

  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of intelligence, independent reasoning, excellent analytical skills and judgment with a strong business acumen

  • Must be comfortable independently evaluating a situation, exercising judgment, and independently making a decision

  • Meticulous attention to detail as well as superior organizational and creative thinking skills

  • Ability to relate and conduct theoretical discussions as applicable to specific technical topics

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • High School Diploma or equivalency

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience within event production and/or warehouse operations
