About th is role :
As an Advanced Practice Provider in Pediatric Neurosergery you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, the APP will be essential in management of pediatric patients with neurosurgical concerns. The APP will be responsible for independent patient care, leading an interdisciplinary team, quality improvement, and advocacy. We are seeking an APP that is interested in learning and helping to develop the pediatric neurosurgery practice in the Las Vegas area.
The pediatric neurosurgery clinic is part of Intermountain Children’s Health and Primary Children’s Hospital, providing local care and surgery to children in the Las Vegas area. The APP is an integral role to the neurosurgery team, working closely with Dr. Taryn Bragg, our pediatric neurosurgeon. Clinical duties will include clinic visits for post-operative care, new referrals, and urgent visits. It will also include rounding on post-operative patients at Sunrise Hospital and other Las Vegas area hospitals. The APP will not assist in surgeries.
Full time, typically be scheduled Monday - Friday daytime hours. No weekend, evenings, or holiday shifts anticipated.

What you’ll bring:
Nevada state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Eligible for State Controlled Substance License
Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
Prior pediatric or neurosurgery clinical experience is highly preferred.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$54.84 - $84.63
