We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Las Vegas, Nevada. This Accounts Payable Specialist position is in the restaurant industry and will involve a high volume of work, including the processing of a significant number of invoices per week. The Accounts Payable Specialist position will be integral to an onshoring accounting initiative and will require expertise in Restaurant 365.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications.

• Maintain precise records of customer credit.

• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.

• Manage full cycle AP processing, including 2/3-way processing, batching, and coding.

• Perform vendor statement reconciliations, check runs, and accruals.

• Handle the entry of invoices through month-end.

• Deal with vendors as part of our operations across numerous restaurants in multiple states.

• Utilize skills in Account Coding, Accrual Accounting, Automated Clearing House (ACH), and Auditing, among others.

• Employ Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Table, HLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP, for various tasks.

• Ensure intercompany transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary.

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Must have a solid understanding of Accrual Accounting.

• Experience in Auditing is crucial.

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) is a must.

• Proficiency in using Restaurant 365 software is needed.

• Experience in the Restaurant industry is preferred.

• Must have the ability to Code Invoices effectively.

• Should have experience in Coding Invoices.

• Must be able to handle Approved Invoices efficiently.

• Experience in Batching is required.

• Must be capable of handling Month End Close procedures.

• Should be adept at Check Runs.

• Must have experience in Entering Vendor Invoices.

• Knowledge of Pivot Table operations is necessary.

• Proficiency in HLOOKUP and VLOOKUP functions is crucial.

• Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel.

• Proficiency in Excel Formulas is required.
