Role reports to: QA Supervisor

Location: Las Piedras, PR

Travel %: 10%, primarily North America

What you will do

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable of all applicable Kenvue processes, specifications, and Quality functions.

• Identifies, notifies and supports Operations and Quality management in the timely resolution of Shop Floor situations maintaining the highest level of compliance with cGMPs and JJCI standards and procedures.

• Provides daily quality support to the Manufacturing and Packaging floor consistent with the Supply Chain's goals while meeting Quality and Compliance goals. Executes online quality review of electronic batch records (e-BRs) and

• pursues issues resolutions. Supports the review of any GMP documentation supporting the operations.

• Responsible for the Label Room printed material dispatch and returns to the Packaging lines, the monitoring of the environmental storage conditions and maintenance of the Label Room area.

• Assigns final disposition to products between stages.

• Will interact with regulatory agencies principally in English language.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in any of the following fields: Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biology or Engineering

• Two to four years of experience in quality assurance not limited to: pharmaceutical solid and liquid dosage, OTC, and controlled product manufacturing, packaging, incoming, audits, compliance, and product disposition.

• Proficiency in English/Spanish is required.

• This position requires flexibility to work on weekend shifts on First, Second or Third shift, or any other shift required per business needs.

• Flexibility to support extra hours and to respond to emergency calls that require returning to the company after regular working hours of the business is required.

Preferred:

• Ability to interpret and apply current Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Knowledge and skills in mathematics, analytical thinking, validation processes and statistical process control, detection, correction and error prevention, process system challenges, knowledge of sampling process, audits, root cause analysis and risk management.

• Proficient in computer knowledge and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software and SAP inventory system reports and transactions.

• Work with minimum supervision and under pressure. Takes initiative and makes good judgment in the performance of assigned duties.
