What You Will Do

Responsable del empaque del producto terminado para asegurar la calidad y el cumplimiento. Asegura que todo el producto sea empacado de acuerdo con los procedimientos y especificaciones establecidas de acuerdo con las Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura, Seguridad y Cumplimiento de Políticas. Esto incluye toda la documentación de Empaque, limpieza de equipo, ensamblaje de las líneas, ajuste de los equipos e inspecciones en proceso. Apoya el desarrollo e implantación de proyectos / iniciativas especiales dentro del Departamento, según el Plan de Negocios de la Compañía.

Responsible for the packaging of finished goods to assure quality and compliance. Ensure that all goods are packaged in accordance with established procedures and specifications according to current Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety and Company policies. This include Packaging documentation, cleaning of equipment, line assembly, set up equipment challenge and in process inspection. Supports the development and implementation of specials projects / initiatives withing the Department, as the Business Plan of the Company

2. Asegurar el estar adiestrado en las tareas a realizar antes de ejecutar. Assures training in the assigned tasks have been delivered prior to execution.

Responsabilidades del área: Area responsibilities:

1. Operar máquinas y equipos de empaque siguiendo todas las precauciones de seguridad, ambiental y calidad establecidas, a modo de cumplir con el plan de producción de su turno (PTP, PTPV, PTPF). Operate packaging machines and equipment following all safety precautions, environmental and quality requirements specified, by way of fulfilling the production plan of the shift (PTP, PTPV, PTPF).

2. Identificar y realizar ajustes menores en las máquinas para empacar el producto, pero consultar con el mecánico de línea en caso que le sucedan problemas mayores a ésta. Identify and make minor adjustments to the machines for the packaging of the product, but notify the line mechanic in case major problems occur during the process.

3. Suplir las máquinas con sus respectivos componentes de empaque para que continúen funcionando en todo momento. Supply the machines with the packaging components to continue running at all times.

4. Instruir o adiestrar personal nuevo en las distintas operaciones del área. Instruct or train new staff in the various operations in the area.

5. Colocar los productos terminados en paletas para el envío de los mismos. Place the finished products on pallets for shipping.

6. Mantener su área de trabajo limpia y ordenada durante el proceso, para cumplir con los procedimientos establecidos y las Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura. Keep clean and tidy your work area during the process to comply with established procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.

7. Completar el formulario del tiempo perdido de la línea de empaque. Complete the time lost form of the packaging line.

8. Realizar la limpieza a los equipos de la línea, efectivamente, y llevar a cabo el cambio de producto para evitar la contaminación cruzada. Make the line’s equipment cleaning, effectively, and carry out the product change to avoid cross contamination.

9. Realizar pruebas periódicas y retos mecánicos para asegurar que la maquinaria está funcionando adecuadamente. Perform periodic testing and mechanical challenges to ensure that machinery is operating properly, to meet the Total Quality program.

10. Realizar tareas de ajustes en el proceso de empaque, asistir al mecánico y realizar los retos mecánicos al comienzo y durante la corrida, según apliquen. Perform adjustments tasks in the process of packing, assist the mechanic and perform mechanical challenges at the beginning and during the run, as applicable,

11. Realizar la reconciliación del proceso de empaque para componentes y productos, realizar todas las transacciones del proceso en sistemas de inventario y MES, según aplique. Perform reconciliation of packaging process for components and products, perform all process transactions in inventory and MES systems, as applicable.

12. Realizar tareas de empaque manual del producto en la línea, de ser requerido. Perform manual packaging tasks of product, if required.

13. Mantener comunicación directa con el supervisor para evaluar y advertir cualquier incumplimiento de los procedimientos operacionales y Registros de Empaque. Maintain direct communication with the supervisor to evaluate and warn any non-conformance to the operations procedures and Packaging Batch Records.

14. Notificar cualquier accidente o incidente que le ocurra en las facilidades, al momento de los hechos, a su supervisor inmediato o a la persona responsable del área. Report any accident or incident that occurs in the facilities, at the moment, to their immediate supervisor or the person responsible for the area.

15. Documentar los datos del proceso y la ejecución de la tarea y/o problemas con el equipo en los registros y documentos oficiales de la compañía para cada etapa del proceso. Esto incluye las auditorías periódicas que determinan la calidad del producto. Document the process data and the execution of the tasks and/or problems with officials batch and documents of the company for each stage of the process. This includes periodics inspections that determine the quality of the product.

16. Trabajar, efectivamente, en la reducción y documentación de desperdicios generados en el proceso de empaque. Work effectively in reducing waste and documentation of the waste generated in the packaging process.

17. Identificar, solicitar y almacenar temporeramente el material necesario para la manufactura del producto. Identify, request and temporarily store the material needed to manufacture the product.

18. Realizar transferencia de producto de drones a “buckets”, cuando sea necesario. Perform the transfer of bulk product to buckets, when necessary.

19. Cumplir con los procedimientos operacionales (SOP's), políticas y las buenas prácticas de manufactura establecidas por el departamento. Comply with the operational procedures (SOPs), policies and good manufacturing practices established by the department.

20. Cumplir con las políticas, procedimientos y normas de la Compañía y de las agencias reguladoras. Comply with the policies, procedures and standards of the Company and the regulatory agencies.

21. Si está realizando la función de verificar una actividad del proceso como: documentación en registro de manufactura, bitácora, formas o cualquier documentación oficial, ejecución de una tarea o un proceso de manufactura y limpieza de equipo, asegurarse: If you are performing the function of verifying a process activity such as: documentation in manufacturing batch, logbook, forms or any official documentation, execution a task or a manufacturing process and equipment cleaning, ensure that:

22. que toda verificación que realiza, cumple con las Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura y documentación. Any verification that perform, complies with Good Manufacturing Practices and documentation.

23. que los resultados están dentro de los parámetros establecidos en el registro de lote y/o procedimientos operacionales. That the results are withing the parameters established in the batch record and / or operational procedures.

24. que notifica, inmediatamente, cualquier desviación detectada en el momento. That notifying immediately any desviation detected at the moment.

25. Tomar las muestras de estabilidad según el registro del lote y procedimientos aplicables. Take stability samples as per batch record and applicable procedures.

26. Notificar al supervisor de calidad y la gerencia correspondiente de cualquier situación, discrepancia y/o no cumplimiento relacionado a muestras de estabilidad. Notifies the quality supervisor and corresponding management of any situation, discrepancy and/or noncompliance related to stability samples.

• Educación: Graduado de escuela superior o su equivalente. Education: Graduate of High School or equivalent.

• Demandas Físicas: Trabajo mediano que requiere de esfuerzo físico. Requiere además destrezas de comunicación, coordinación ojo-mano-pie, capacidad para trasladarse y destrezas manuales gruesas y finas. Requiere de fuerza física para levantar, cargar, empujar o halar objetos. Envuelve movimientos del cuerpo como trepar, arrodillarse, agacharse, inclinarse, subir y bajar escaleras. Requiere agudeza auditiva y agudeza visual cercana, mediana y lejana; percepción de profundidad, campo visual, visión de color y acomodo visual. Physical Demands: Work that requires medium physical effort. It requieres communication skills, hand-eye-foot coordination, ability to transfer and gross and fine manual dexterity. It requires physical strenght to lift, carry, push or pull objetcs. Envuelve body movements such as climbing, kneeling, stooping, bending, climbing stairs. Requires auditory acuity and near, medium and distant visual acuity, depth perception, visual field, color vision and visual accomodation.

• Conocimiento, Destrezas y/o Habilidades: Destrezas básicas de matemática: sumar, restar, dividir decimales y por ciento (aprobación de examen). Comunicación básica de inglés/español. Conocimiento de GMPs. Habilidad para operar montacarga. Habilidad para entrar data en los sistemas y realizar procesos simples. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic math skills: addition, substraction, divide decimals and percents (approval consideration). Basic communication in English / Spanish. Knowledged of GMPs. Ability to operate forklift. Ability to enter data into a computer and perform simple process transactions.
