_Position Summary _
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for managing projects and executing marketing and communications tactics to support the goals of LifePoint Health. In close coordinator with the Director of Marketing & Communications, the role is responsible for the implementation of marketing and communications plans for the hospital, including: website and social media content maintenance; internal communications platforms (employees and physicians); public relations/earned media plan; coordination and engagement in local community events and sponsorships; and placement of paid advertisements. Essential functions * o Assist the Director of Marketing & Communications with the implementation of local and organizational strategic priorities. o Serve as on-site representation of marketing and communications with local stakeholders, as needed. o Coordinate advertising efforts with local hospital and regional/organizational leadership. o Promote hospital services through various types of media. o Responsible for physician relation activities related to marketing campaigns, physician events, referral development, identification of opportunities to collaborate with physician groups. o Develop relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally throughout the market area to position LifePoint in its community as a healthcare leader. o Coordinate crisis communications with Director of Marketing & Communications and HSC Communications.
_Minimum Qualifications _
- o Minimum Education: *Bachelor's degree in Communications/Marketing or related field. o *Minimum Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years Marketing and communications/PR experience. o Required Skills:* * + Strong computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. + Detail-oriented and self-starter with strong verbal communications and excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills. + Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions. + Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision. + Strong project management skills with the ability to manage marketing initiatives from inception through completion. _EEOC Statement_
