: Ensures public health complies with federal and state laws and regulations for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) 340B Pharmacy Reimbursement Program. Develops quality assurance standards and processes. Assists HIV/STD and Hep-C divisions with problem resolution.

: ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.* - Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff. Supervisory functions include: makes hiring and termination recommendations; prioritizes assignments and directs work; develops and oversees employee work schedules and approves time away from work; provides and/or facilitates employee training and development; approves/processes employee concerns and problems and counsels or disciplines as appropriate; completes employee performance appraisals; determines or makes recommendations regarding new hire salaries and salary changes; and acts as liaison between employees and management. - Ensures departmental divisions are equipped with tools and training necessary to perform day to day functions and plants remain compliant with federal and state laws and regulations. - Assists engineering HIV/STD and HEP-C divisions as needed regarding 340B processes and reimbursements. Reviews policies and procedures regarding 340B pharmacy program evaluates billing and reimbursements and makes revisions to ensure compliance, as needed. - Assists with recertification and reporting processes. Works with vendors to ensure compliance. - Will be required to drive a City vehicle for City business use. - Performs related work as required. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
