We are in search of an Architect who will be a technical leader and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Architect to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, hybrid, and is a salaried position.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications

  • Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and secure solutions using Python and Java

  • Integrate various technologies like IBM Datapower, API Connect, and OpenShift to create a robust architecture

  • Utilize cloud services like Azure to ensure efficient and cost-effective solutions

  • Implement strong authentication protocols (Oauth, Mutual Cert) to safeguard sensitive data

  • Design microservices architecture for modularity and maintainability

  • Implement monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Dynattrace) for performance optimization and troubleshooting

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of experience leading the development of complex systems with similar technology stacks

  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and performant solutions

  • In-depth knowledge of Python and Java programming languages

  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and containerization technologies like OpenShift

  • Familiarity with API Management tools (IBM API Connect) and application gateways (IBM Datapower)

  • Understanding of relational databases (Oracle) and database programming languages (PL/SQL, ESQL)

  • Experience with API security protocols (Oauth, Mutual Cert Authentication)

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture principles and best practices

  • Expertise in monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Dynatrace)

  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

  • Ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Minimum of one active technical certification in Java (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer)

  • IBM Certified Solution Developer - App Connect Enterprise V11

  • IBM Certified Solution Implementer - DataPower Gateway

  • Additional relevant technical certifications are a plus

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
