Robert Half Receptionist in Lansing, Michigan

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in Lansing, Michigan. This role involves providing front desk support, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth operation of office activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming calls with a professional phone etiquette, ensuring all queries are handled efficiently

• Perform various clerical duties as needed, which may include filing, stocking supplies, and sorting and delivering mail

• Handle envelope stuffing tasks as required, adhering to all relevant procedures and standards

• Maintain a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• Learn and retain information quickly, using this knowledge to enhance job performance

• Provide exceptional customer service, fostering a positive experience for all visitors

• Utilize MS Word for document creation and management, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date

• Work collaboratively within a team, contributing to a supportive and productive work environment

• Take on additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment. Requirements • Possess at least one year of experience working in a receptionist role, preferably within the Real Estate & Property industry

• Proficient in using MS Word; familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications is a plus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to their urgency

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in Office Administration would be considered a plus

• Proven ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality

• Experience in handling a multi-line phone system is desirable

• Knowledge of the real estate industry is a plus.
