Responsible for keeping assigned areas and/or buildings in a safe, clean, orderly and trouble-free condition, including repairing out of order items or reporting these items to the appropriate trade for repair, to further the college, goals of instruction, research and public service. Responsible for sustainability programs/recycling. Assist in directing and coordinating the activities of outside contracted services in designated facilities. Assist Facilities Skilled Trades and Trades with maintaining clean and safe mechanical rooms and maintenance closets. Must have the capability to see a situation, analyze and respond with a positive and professional outlook. Clean driving record with the ability to meet the requirements to operate college vehicles. Candidates will be expected to obtain certification for fork truck, Bob Cats, etc. after hire. Work schedules will include various shifts and hours. The successful candidate will work effectively with a diverse population of students and colleagues.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.
