Job DescriptionnSUMMARY: The Data Developer at Stride, Inc. will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, reports, and integrations to support back-office functions such as billing, invoicing, and supply chain management. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders in Finance, Legal, Audit, and other business units to ensure accurate and timely reporting solutions. The Data Developer will be instrumental in optimizing data processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting ongoing operational and ad-hoc reporting needs.nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.nn * Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to support reporting requirements across back-office functions, including finance, legal, and audit.n * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.n * Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making and operational processes.n * Ensure data accuracy and integrity across various data sources and reporting systems.n * Assist in automating recurring reporting tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.n * Monitor and troubleshoot data processes to identify issues and ensure timely resolution.n * Maintain and update documentation for data processes, reports, and system configurations.n * Work closely with stakeholders to address ad-hoc data requests and provide analytical support as needed.n * Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement in data management and reporting.nnSupervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.nnMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: nn * Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, or equivalent trainingn * Five (5) years of relevant professional experience with data modeling tools, including at least three (3) years of experience in handling large data sets using fact and dimension models at an enterprise level ORn * Equivalent combination of education and experiencennOther Required qualifications:nn * Proficiency with SQL, relational data tables and data modeling principles,n * Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint)n * Proficiency with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.n * Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and relational databases.n * Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with other professional staffn * Excellent verbal and written communication skillsn * Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely reporting solutions.n * Ability to travel up to 10% of the timen * Ability to clear required background checknnCertificates and Licenses: None required.nnDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: nn * Experience with Visual Studio, DBT Core, Github, Bitbucket, Pythonn * Experience with various formats including but not limited to relational, JSON, Neo4j graphing databasesn * Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards (SOX, GDPR, etc.).n * Demonstrated experience in creating end to end products to drive business outcomesnnWORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
