Comfort Keepers Scheduler/In Home Client Care in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Participates in relevant community events to build relationships and brand recognition. Ensures referrals, phone conversions, home visits, new client's assimilations and ongoing client care coordination are thoroughly documented and kept up to date. Works with the entire Comfort Keepers staff to coordinate care and helps facilitate caregiver review and coaching to ensure the highest possible quality of care. Participates in management on-call rotation. Assist with hiring and training of caregivers. Coordinates Emergency Alert System for clients and assist with Identigo fingerprinting service

Responsibilities:

  • Create schedule based on client's service needs
  • Fills all caregiver/client shifts and ensures that they are attended
  • Supervise Homemaker/Companion caregivers ensuring they are skilled, knowledgeable and capable of meeting the needs of clients. Provides counseling/coaching as needed and escalates concerns for counseling. 
  • Contributes input to and performs companion caregiver performance evaluations.
  • Responsible for working with HR manager to conduct 90 day and annual performance reviews for all caregivers.
  • Identify needs and ideal caregivers. Train caregiver to meet client Plan of Care.
  • Responsible to communicate with Caregivers on Client well-being. First point of contact for caregivers with client concerns. 
  • Represents Comfort Keepers periodically at community events and marketing events upon request by manager.
  • Participates in On Call rotation and follows protocols.
  • Participate in Indetigo fingerprinting.
