B&W is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of manufacturing technical support functions in a high mix, engineered to order product manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for:

• Shop Routings and Engineering Bill of Materials
• Make vs. Buy decisions and cost estimating
• Tooling/Fixturing and Inspection Gauge Design
• Process Improvement and New Product Development
• Capital equipment selection and installation. Troubleshooting of existing equipment.
• Document and maintain shop process Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Assist with 3-D models and drawings of components using AutoCAD Inventor
• Work with other Engineers & Designers to ensure parts are designed for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) and provide feedback for design changes to reduce product costs
• Work with Project Managers and QA to ensure shop routings include all inspection hold-points required to meet product and customer inspection and testing requirements
• Work with Operations Management to ensure procurement and production bottlenecks are resolved

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ME or IE preferred)
• Experience with 3D modeling software (AutoCad Inventor or similar)
• General understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly, etc.)
• A motivated, hands-on, detail oriented, team player with a desire to continuously improve their skill sets and technical knowledge
• Ability to work and communicate with all members of the organization
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
