Encore is looking for someone who possesses a wide variety of audio, video, and systems expertise talents. You can assist and lead our customer service efforts while working closely with the management team. Help develop overall customer service strategy and support system solutions including music, audio/video systems, digital signage, content management, CCTV, voice, data, fiber and other complimentary services.

Compensation Range for this Role: $35.00 - 50.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Be Safe - Safety is our number one priority. Follow company and client worksite practices and policies.

  • Proactive and reactive support and maintenance of AV systems and components at designated customer sites.

  • Identify, diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving AV Systems.

  • Responsible for maintaining and operating audio-video equipment used in the recording and distribution of multi-channel audio and video.

  • Install low voltage wiring and cable; solder and terminate connectors; wire equipment racks; and assemble equipment/devices using the appropriate supports/mounts.

  • Advanced troubleshooting problems and repair of equipment such as digital audio recorders, audio systems, microphones, audio mixers, DSP processors, associated cabling and other multimedia equipment.

  • Performing Audio and Visual checks, remediating issues prior to meetings and presentations.

  • Maintains and grows customer relationships within established SLAs.

  • Provide regular progress updates for current and outstanding incidents or project related tasks.

  • Able to demonstrate soft skills which includes listening, attentiveness, clear communication, humble confidence, positive body language, self-control, empathy and patience.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organization and time management skills with an ability to understand priorities and work efficiently with little supervision.

  • Must be able to learn and support new and quickly changing technologies.

  • Ability to research solutions or information regarding technical issues.

  • Ability to read and interpret AV system drawings, schematics, and construction plans.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word.

  • Experience with related technologies such as security, VOIP, IT, and telecom.

  • CTS Certification preferred.

  • Other industry certifications a plus (Cisco, Biamp, Extron, Crestron or AMX).

  • Familiarity with uploading code for AMX, Crestron and Extron control systems.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Excellent customer service skills; must possess a "can do" attitude.

  • Assertive and resourceful; self-motivated; willing to ask questions and take initiative be able to communicate clearly.

  • Consistently demonstrates professional demeanor, appearance and attitude.

  • Must have a good command of the English language in order to provide effective phone, desk-side, and email support.

  • Must have an acceptable driving record and current driver license.

  • Must be able to pass required background check and drug test.

  • Must be able to travel regionally at times.
