16 Landscape Technicians needed for permanent, full-time employment.

Job Duties: Landscape and maintain grounds of commercial and residential properties with year- round contracts using hand and power tools and equipment, including lawnmower (walk behind and rider), edger, trimmer, backpack blower, wheelbarrow, shovel, rake, broom, ladder, hedge pruner, saw, and chain saw. Install and repair sprinkler systems and mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Lay sod, plant flowers, shrubs and trees, mow, trim shrubs, spread dirt, rake, blow, prune, mulch, fertilize, pull weeds, and aerate. Load and unload materials and tools and keep them clean. Operate vehicles as needed. During the Winter months, install winter sod and landscape, perform specific and specialized winter rejuvenation pruning for shrubs and plants and plant winter shrubs and plants. Install and repair sprinkler systems and conduct shut offs of system activation for winter months. Install and repair drainage systems and maintain gutters. Winter lawn clean ups. Pick up and dispose of tree clippings. Plow/blow/shovel snow from properties, roadways and driveways by using a walk-behind snow blower and/or shovel for most residential and commercial properties, or for larger projects, by operating a truck with a snowplow attached to the front of the truck. Spread salt on walkways and driveways. Apply liquid de-icer pretreatments and ice slicer. Work will be performed with relatively minimal daily oversight. The employer will provide on-the-job training. The employer will provide all tools, supplies, equipment and uniform required to perform the job at no charge. Requirements: Travel daily to and from job sites, which are all located within normal commuting distance in Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Douglas, Denver and Jefferson counties. All transportation to job sites provided from main office daily. Wages/Terms: $22.14/hr. - $26.00/hr., and $33.21/hr. - $39.00/hr. for OT. 40 hours per week. Available benefits include 401K after 6 months of employment, and HFWA.
