Data Center Tech

Position Overview:

The Computer Facilities and Environmental Branch (CFEB) is responsible for short and long-range data center space allocation and resource planning, mainframe hardware installation, and hardware manipulation of IT equipment in all of these locations. The computer operations centers support the programmatic, administrative, management information, statistical application systems, telecommunications network, electronic messaging system, and computer infrastructure and telecommunications equipment for the customer.

The contractors shall support the facilities management of the customer’s raised-floor computer room environments, and assist in developing and implementing facilities for both mainframe and open systems. The hourly rate for this position is between $29 and $34 per hour.
