Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities Overview: Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Distribution, the Master Trainer delivers performance improvement through championing standard job processes and best practices. The position serves as a Master Trainer for training programs at multiple locations, oversees train-the-trainer programs and serves as the subject matter expert ensuring distribution center safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The Master Trainer must be able to establish credibility and deliver high-energy programs through curriculum design/customization and project management that are required to satisfy the needs of a wide range of cultures and working professionals. Training areas include, document creation, compliance, process improvement and technical, as well as professional development education and special initiatives designed to improve the performance of individual staff. This role will partner with many departments to determine current and future skills and needs, liaising with peers in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative learning solutions; always ensuring our business expectations are exceeded through measurable return on investment. Working Location: Hybrid This role is located at the Lakeville, MN Corporate office Typical hybrid schedule includes 3 days in-office with remote flexibility up to 2 days a week. #LI-hybrid Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Oversees site training program to ensure that training gaps are identified and plans in place to address annual goals and long-term strategy. Verifies proper methods are being used to effectively meet business/site needs. Works alongside leaders and peers to share best practices and drive program consistency across manufacturing sites. Provide work direction, leadership and a shared vision to a team or direct reports. Trains job instruction trainers; develop operations employees to meet and/or exceed performance expectations and conduct company standards for personal safety, productivity, quality, food safety, sanitation, environmental, regulatory compliance and SQF. Assesses needs of the organization assisting in identifying distribution center performance gaps and develop training strategies to close those gaps. Populate learning management system and could assist in developing operator task lists and job break down sheets. Adapts to changing business needs to maintain quality training. Develops, tracks and assess progress on training plan and schedule. Helps establish an “environment of success”, based on mutual respect, promotion of company culture, continuous learning, and operational excellence. Maintain harmonious relationships between shifts by effective communications and shift transfer meetings; available to occasionally work other than regular shifts such as holidays and weekends. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business-related discipline or equivalent experience required. Experience with Integrated manufacturing systems is required with previous involvement in digital transformation preferred. Functional manufacturing/distribution systems knowledge. Experience: Excellent facilitator/trainer using adult learning principles, design, create and develop learning solutions to meet learning objectives. Would prefer a minimum of 3-5 years of combined related experience, with a preference in food warehousing environment. 3-5 years’ experience in direct people management associated to a training function, inclusive of instructional design and planning teams preferred, Proficient at using Learning Management Systems; experience with remote and e-Learning a plus. Expertise in the development, delivery and evaluation of training initiatives to support ongoing improvements in: knowledge, skills, processes and engagement. Highly detailed, organized, efficient, and deadline driven on all project and administrative tasks. Superior project management skills to steward a team through a project. Proficient with PowerPoint and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Must be able to read, write, and communicate in the English language. Travel Expectation: 25 - 33%
