Lead CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Machinist! Daily responsibilities will include reading blueprints, selecting tooling, setting up the CNC Swiss machining centers, programming at the machine, and performing quality inspections. This candidate must have experience setting up CNC Swiss machines. They will work with medical, plastic, and metal parts. This is a short to medium run job shop with about 20 employees and capabilities that include Swiss, milling, and lathe work.

Work Environment

The shop is a custom run CNC job shop specializing in both short and long run parts within the plastics and metal industries. They specialize in making large plastic filtration parts for industrial applications and turning prototypes into practical parts. The shop is clean, well-lit, and the company has very little attrition.
