Compeer Financial AgTech Partner Officer in Lakeville, Minnesota

Position Overview: This position develops and manages relationships with Ag Technology partners. Sells innovative financing technology solutions to Ag Tech companies. Incumbent recommends product improvements to the program to meet the needs of clients. Essential Functions:

  • Develops relationships with Ag Technology Partners across many segments in agriculture.
  • Proactively supports and improves relationships with assigned Ag Technology Partners as well as other business relationships across the agricultural industry.
  • Works closely with Ag Tech Partners on contract negotiations, technology conversations, production ready, and on-going support. Participates in technology conversations with Ag Tech Partners to gain understanding of how our solutions will be utilized on the partner website.
  • Provides market intelligence and input to product manager and technology teams to ensure a best in class technology product is in the market place.
  • Coordinates with the Managing Director/Director Business Development to refine and execute sales plan to generate new business expectations set forth by the organization.
  • Participates in the development of new digital offerings to Ag Tech partners and clients.
  • Develops and builds important networks, relationships, and resources to provide new products, programs and solutions.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, agribusiness or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Minimum of 5 years' sales experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Technology (product management, sales, analysis).
  • Strategic and innovative.
  • Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
  • Ability to remain objective in balancing business needs and risk.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
  • Valid driver's license.
