POSITION SUMMARY

• TheTire Technicianis responsible for maintaining our culture that all Oakley employees live to create trust and confidence by consistently delivering on our promises to all we serve.
• The Tire Technician serves to follow the Oakley Service standards.
• The Tire Technician performs the daily tire maintenance of tires in the tire shop.
• Reports back to the tire shop manager and Lead Tire Technician.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Support the food safety and quality requirements by through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner to ensure compliance with company, customer and FDA requirements.
• Report quality and food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action to the Director of Quality.
• Perform routine tire maintenance on class 8 vehicle tires. This includes changing tires, checking tire pressure, and monitoring the wear on tires.
• Participates in and takes on-call rotation.
• Ensure work area is kept clean.
• Proficient in AS400.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be dependable, reliable, and adhere to daily schedule.
• Any other job duties as defined. Must be willing to be cross trained as needed.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Familiar with DOT compliance
• Current driver's license to operate company vehicles
