JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide support and companionship. to a woman in her home. The ideal candidate would have some medical experience, be comfortable performing personal cares, assisting with activities of daily living, and possess a caring attitude. Applicants must be comfortable working as part of a team, as there will be 2-3 caregivers rotating shifts to provide coverage. You will providing support and companionship for someone wanting to remain in the comfort of their home. Ideally, provider would be available/interested in the following: - Monday - Friday: 1-2 hours between 3:00pm-8:00pm - Saturday & Sunday: 8:00am-2:00pm, and again for 1-2 hours in the evenings between 3:00pm-8:00pm What You\'ll Be Doing: Personal Care Assistance: Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming Meal Preparation: Prepare meals according to the client\'s dietary needs and preferences. Housekeeping: Light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining the living area Mobility Support: Assist with manual transfers while we wait for her physical equipment to come in Companionship: Provide companionship and emotional support to the client. Potentially solo grocery shopping trips (20 minute drive) Things She Enjoys: Watching tv (Westerns & news) & Eating Country music Requirements: Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation Willing to undergo a caregiver background check upon hire Strong communication skills *Must be able to successfully pass a background check before being hired. Care for individuals or families during periods of incapacitation, family disruption, or convalescence, providing companionship, personal care, or help in adjusting to new lifestyles. Perform housekeeping duties, such as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes or dishes, or running errands. Instruct or advise clients on issues, such as household cleanliness, utilities, hygiene, nutrition, or infant care. Plan, shop for, or prepare nutritious meals or assist families in planning, shopping for, or preparing nutritious meals.
