Job Title: Medical Technologist

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Medical Technologist where you will be responsible for biological specimen preparation, labeling, preservation or fixation, and processing.

Responsibilities

• You will perform moderate to high complexity tests following established protocols and assist in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Your role will also involve preparation and storage of specimens, reagents, and culture media, as well as assisting in quality control procedures.

• You will maintain and monitor Turnaround Time (TAT) for all department assays, adhere to documentation and record-keeping standards, and follow our laboratory's Quality Management System.

• Collaborate with team members and leadership in various laboratory maintenance activities including inventory management, biohazardous waste disposal, and sterilization of glassware while maintaining a neat and organized work area. You will also be assigned other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Active license as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician

• At least 2 years of experience in a CLIA laboratory

• Degree in Science

• Knowledge of Microbiology techniques

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lake Mary, Florida.

Shifts: TUES - SAT, 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM , WED - SAT, 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM
