Deloitte Business Analyst in Lake Mary, Florida

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Experience designing and implementing functional systems and data in a structured process.

  • Ability to research data definition, usage and flow to gain expertise in existing systems.

  • Ability to create new business processes and data usage to promote efficiency.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned tasks / projects with minimal assistance.

  • Expert troubleshooting skills to investigate resolve and escalate problems. Identifies need for technical assistance to help in problem resolution.

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to provide working system prototypes and scenario modeling.

  • Expert to learn evolving firm reporting technology platforms (Tableau, BI tools)

  • Proficient understanding of data warehouse concepts.

  • Diagram highly complex business processes, data flow and architecture for new systems and data

  • Create highly complex business cases to provide cost effective solutions.

  • Follow highly complex data flow to interpret source of information in support of new systems and data.

  • Proactively drive change to systems based on business system impact analysis.

  • Serve as functional lead in technical implementation of agreed upon solutions.

  • Decisions made based on highly complex business system impact analysis and involve business process or data flow recommendations and may impact firm systems.

  • Business process redesign decisions are generally made in collaboration with divisional stakeholders and have a high risk on Firm performance.

  • While there are no direct people responsibilities, leading others across the firm to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines will be required.

  • This position requires a deep understanding of how enterprise systems interact with one another and impact firm operations and initiatives.

  • Ability to create project plans or execute pre-existing plans.

  • Ability to summarize highly complex business cases, system information and concepts and clearly communicate to firm leadership.

  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.

Our operate services within CTO include:

  • Foundry Services: Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement

  • Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products

    Qualifications

    Required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or related fields, with a proven track record of gathering and documenting business requirements.

  • Proficiency in using a variety of techniques to gather and document business requirements, including interviews, surveys, workshops, and use cases.

  • Knowledge of system integrations and the ability to assess their impact on business processes and requirements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Role is remote

    Preferred

  • Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform, particularly in the context of IT Service Management (ITSM), is highly desirable.

  • Experience in user acceptance testing and quality assurance processes.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data to derive meaningful insights.

  • Analytical/ decision making responsibilities

  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products

  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75 ,000 to $105,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
