Schedule: 2 nd shift Monday – Friday 2:30 pm – 11:00pm

Location: Lake Mary, FL

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Assembler to join a Metals manufacturing team located in Lake Mary, FL. In this role, you will work both individually and as part of a team to assemble various components per documented instructions into the required final assemblies for our customers. You will be responsible for the identification, assembly, packaging, documentation, and tagging of all assigned assemblies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As an Assembler, you will:

• Effectively measure parts to ensure conformity to print specifications.

• Determine if supplied materials meet production requirements, including edge quality, surface defects, and paint imperfections.

• Fill out production paperwork, including quality and timekeeping records.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in compliance with housekeeping policies (6S Standards).

• Work well with other team members, contributing to a collaborative environment.

• Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

• Wear the required safety equipment at all times.

• Correctly fill out tags to identify parts produced.

• Perform basic setups involving prewritten programs.

• Read blueprints to determine characteristics needed for monitoring.

• Receive On-the-Job Training from the cell supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or GED.

• Special Requirements:

• Able to communicate effectively in English.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to kneel, crouch, reach, and lift frequently.

Safety Requirements:

• Safety glasses and shoes must be worn in all manufacturing areas.

• Hearing protection must be worn in all areas marked for hearing safety and is optional in unmarked areas.
