Position Summary:

Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. The primary purpose of the Surgical Tech position is to assist the surgeon and RN’s in operative procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred**
• Graduate of a program in discipline program**
• Surgical Tech Certification required within 6 months of hire**
• Associate degree and 2 years of experience required if they do not have a Surgical Tech certification on hire**
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of hire**
