Director of Surgical Services

CTTX Health is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Surgical Services to lead our surgical department. As the Director, you will play a critical role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality surgical care and ensuring the efficient operations of the department.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the surgical department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Lead and manage a team of surgeons, nurses, and support staff, providing guidance and support.

  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures.

  • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize surgical processes.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or relevant clinical license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in surgical services, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, perioperative workflow, and patient care standards.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in surgical services and healthcare management.
