An Electro-Mechanical Cable Designer is needed for a Swiss-American pharmaceutical and medical device company specializing in eye care products in the Lake Forrest, CA area. This role involves designing components, systems, or prototypes for medical devices, managing detailed product drawings, and routing cables using Creo, with a focus on PCB schematics and interconnect diagrams.

responsibilities:

• Designs components, portions of a functional system, prototypes, or specific products for medical devices, science, or technology.

• Creates and manages the generation of detailed product drawings.

• Utilizes Creo Parametric, Creo Schematic, and Creo Harness for design work.

• Responsible for creating cable drawings and routing cables in Creo.

• Must be able to read and understand PCB schematics, block diagrams, and system interconnect diagrams.

Skills:

• Proficient in CAD packages, with preferred proficiency in Creo.

• SolidWorks experience is also valuable.

Education and Experience:

• Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of experience, or

• 5 years of working experience designing, documenting, and routing cables using Creo software.
