Job Description
We are seeking certified assembly technicians to join our Installation/Modification Travel Teams. The role involves performing In-Seat Power, Wi-Fi, ACARS, and FMS upgrade kit installations on various aircraft types. All tasks must be performed in accordance with aircraft manufacturer manuals, Engineering Drawings, FAR's, and Company policies, with a strong emphasis on safety and high standards. This position is based in Gainesville, FL.
Responsibilities
Perform installations of In-Seat Power, Wi-Fi, ACARS, and FMS upgrade kits on various aircraft types.
Ensure all installations comply with aircraft manufacturer manuals, Engineering Drawings, FAR's, and Company policies.
Maintain high safety standards at all times during installations.
Troubleshoot and repair avionics systems as needed.
Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals.
Essential Skills
Experience in aircraft repair and aviation, including avionics troubleshooting and modifications.
Possession of an A&P License and Airframe License.
Basic set of tools required.
Ability to work with wire harnesses and perform avionics installations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Sheet Metal/Avionics experience is beneficial but not required.
Mix of entry-level candidates and those with 1 to 5 years of experience welcome.
Must be able to relocate and work 65-80+ hours a week for several months at a time with minimal time off.

Work Environment
The position requires working 7 days a week, 12-hour days, with flexible work hours from 7am until as late as 7pm. You will be part of a team of 5-10 people. The company is highly respected in the industry for delivering top-notch work for regional carriers. The job includes time off during the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas.

This is a Contract position based out of Gainesville, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39.75 - $41.75/hr.
