Discover Impactful Work:

The Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst will be tasked with monitoring, triaging, and preventing data loss and insider threats as part of the Critical Asset Protection (CAP) team. The ideal candidate will develop alerts and detections that drive process improvement and program growth. This role will enable opportunities to learn and grow under the mentorship of cybersecurity Analysts, Engineers, and Digital Forensic Examiners.

A Day in the Life:

  • Develop use cases to improve detection, alerting, and response capabilities using various tools, technologies, and solutions

  • Respond to and analyze data loss and internal threat activity

  • Escalate critical findings to Tier 3 Analysts

  • Contribute to the development of valuable metrics and key performance indicators

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Cyber Security or related field – equivalent work experience acceptable

  • IT and/or cybersecurity certifications a plus

Experience

  • 1-3 years of IT, cyber, or related experience

  • Experience with DLP, SIEM, EDR, IRM, SOAR, and/or UEBA solutions a plus

  • Experience as Tier 1 or Tier 2 support a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • A self-starter who is highly inquisitive with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally with teams

  • Ability to make informed analytical judgments and thoroughly detail findings in a written and/or presentation format

  • Possess an investigative approach with strong analytic and creative problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with basic Windows and Mac operating system functionality

  • Solid attention to detail and organizational skills are a must

  • Ability to organize, correlate, and analyze log data using a variety of tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Splunk, etc. a plus.
