SWA Group Experienced Landscape Architect in Laguna Beach, California
SWA is an award-winning, international landscape architecture, planning, and urban design firm with offices in California, Texas, New York and Shanghai. We are currently seeking talented, design-oriented landscape architect to fulfill a substantial role in our Laguna Beach studio. Our work is recognized for its visionary aesthetics, exceptional functionality, keen understanding of social design, and strong emphasis on environmental sustainability. Applicant must have 3 to 5 years' professional experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Landscape Architecture
Strong design & hand sketching skills
Proficiency with Auto CAD, BIM, Sketch-Up, Lumion, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Microsoft Office, and other advanced rendering platforms
Demonstrated ability in Construction Documents and Specifications
Project management/project coordination
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail
Effective time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at a time, meet strict deadlines, with problem solving skills
General familiarity with the practices of an international design firm
Successful candidates will work in a project team environment during all phases of design, from conceptual design through construction observation. Candidates should be innovative, have strong ideas, a responsible work ethic, and be proficient in hand and digital graphics. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with clients, sub-consultants, and peers in a responsible and professional manner.
