Job Description

Global Data Systems has an immediate opening for an Accounting Generalist. The ideal candidate will have one or two years of experience in accounts payable and will be responsible for performing a wide range of accounting duties to support our financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounts payable process including vendor management

• Responsible for all AP invoice entry/posting and vendor cash disbursements

• Assist in resolution of vendor disputes and requests for clarification in a timely manner

• Perform accurate data entry and maintain required documentation

• Review and process employee expense reports bi-weekly according to guidelines

• Review and process credit card reports and receipts submitted by cardholders on monthly basis

• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or1- 2 years of accounts payable experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting practices

• Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
