Our client, a prominent manufacturing company is seeking a MAchine Operator Trainee to join their team. As a Machine Operator Trainee, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, manufacturing understanding and a willingness to learn which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator Trainee Location: Lackawanna, NY Pay Range: $19.75/hour

What's the Job? * Ensure safety, quality and performance on the assigned line or area under the direction of the Supervisor or Shift Lead * Perform routine preventative maintenance for saws, pullers and downstream equipment * Adjust, make length changes, change wrappers and set up special operation requests * Help other employees with stringing of lines and change overs * Assist other employees with line threading and change overs

What's Needed? * High School Diploma or GED * Minimum of 6 months related experience * Strong problem-solving skills * Proficiency in basic math
