Construction Biller

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Biller with experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable, billing, and invoicing. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, proficiency in AS400 and Windows-based systems, and excellent communication skills to update invoices within government systems. High school diploma or GED required, and we welcome new graduates.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the initiation and tracking of contract projects to ensure compliance and successful completion.

  • Prepare invoices and any additional documentation required for billing purposes.

  • Process and validate invoices according to project contract documentation.

  • Gather and record information to assist with process compliance monitoring.

  • Initiate, process, and track progress of contracting business unit claims.

  • Initiate documents for purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.

  • Coordinate with customers on contract documentation including tax documents, purchase orders, and general information.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Accounting, accounts payable/receivable, billing, and invoicing experience.

  • Construction experience (data entry, customer service, etc.).

Work Environment

This is a contract-to-hire position requiring 100% onsite work for the first 90 days, after which the option to work remotely for 2 days per week is available. You will be part of a team of 15, working hours from 8-5 or 7:30-4:30.
