As a Regional Sales Manager, you will create and implement the commercial strategy for Nestlé Professional in a specific region (Western Switzerland) in the out-of-home (OOH) channels. This includes achieving regional sales and profitability goals by acquiring, growing, and retaining customers. Additionally, you will manage a regional sales team consisting of 5 field sales employees and 1 regional key account manager and regularly monitor and report on sales activities and performance in the region.

A Day in the Life of a Regional Sales Manager

  • Customer & Sales Management within region: Responsible for regional wholesalers and developing major end-customers in the area.

  • Prioritization and resource allocation of sales force on existing customers based on ABC analysis.

  • Regular visits to existing strategic customers to secure and expand relationships.

  • Achieving defined growth and profitability targets through hunting, farming, and condition management.

  • Customer portfolio analysis and reporting of sales within the region.

  • Animating and energizing the region with relevant activities such as events and incentives.

  • Supporting the business unit strategy by participating in defining sales strategy and coordinating with key functions.

  • Leading and developing the regional sales team, organizing meetings, and seeking efficient ways of working.

What will make you successful

  • Strong background in F&B sales, particularly in the B2B HoReCa sector.

  • Extensive experience in team management, preferably with field sales force.

  • Proven skills in reporting, analytics, and project management.

  • Existing network within the F&B and HoReCa market would be advantageous.

  • Fluent in French, German, and English.
