HPC-Industrial , powered by Clean Harbors, in La Porte, TX is looking for a Welder/Fabricator to work at our customer location and to join their safety conscious team! This team member is responsible for the successful execution of the application of trade skills to a wide variety of welding, fitting and custom fabrication and various other responsibilities. The Welder/Fabricator serves as a representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. 1. Basic fitting experience/knowledge

2. Performs welding operations as required by job specifications with SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and FCAW.

3. Knowledge of raw materials and understands MTR’s and electrode classifications.

4. Perform pre welding operations with saws, shears, automated cutting equipment for shaping and preparation.

5. Understand the use of weld inspection tools and their use.

6. Assist in dimensional verification checks.

7. Understands basic inspection of welds for discontinuities.

8. Performs advanced fabrication, documents measuring, etc.

9. Must be willing to work nights and weekends beyond their normal schedule

• Journeyman Certification preferred

• 3-5 Years Experience Welding required.

• Drivers’ license required.

• Previous experience with Vac Truck and/or fabrication is an asset.

• Mechanically inclined.
