POSITION: EVS Technician - Environmental Care
DUTIES: * Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairwells in a clean, neat, and sanitary mann * Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area. * Replenishes supplies in rooms and on housekeeping carts. * Utilized the appropriate PPE, chemicals and supplies according to procedure. * Follows all infection control practices, including handwashing techniques, standards precautions, and isolation precautions. * Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
REQUIREMENTS: * Must have valid Driver's License * High school graduate or general equivalence diploma preferred * One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
PREFERRED SKILLS: * Speaking Talking to others to convey information effectively. * Active Listening Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
WAGE: $15.00 - $18.02 per/hour
SHIFTS: Evening Shift / Full Time
