Description

Our client is looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of the finance department by carrying out various financial tasks. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be comfortable working with a team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial reports and perform account reconciliations.

• Conduct internal audits and assist with annual audit preparations.

• Review journal entries of junior accountants and provide guidance.

• Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, and reports).

• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP.

• Proficiency with accounting software, Excel in particular.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
