Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team and support various HR functions. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of HR duties, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

  • Handle employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance to managers and employees.

  • Administer employee benefits programs and provide support during open enrollment periods.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

  • Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.

  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy in timekeeping and payroll data.

  • Support health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.

  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.

  • Perform other HR-related tasks and duties as assigned.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably as a generalist.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

  • Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.

  • Experience with HR software and systems is desirable.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
