WESTERN TECHNICAL COLLEGE Product Development & Sales Coordinator in LA CROSSE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Product Development & Sales Coordinator (PDSC) leads the development and fulfillment of contract training opportunities for the college. The PDSC will play a key role in the management of customer relations for BIS at Western. The PDSC will facilitate timely quoting, contract review/update, and confirmation. Success for the contract training process will come through collaboration with the BIS performance consultant (lead sales role) to ensure proper flow of information to address time-sensitive customer requests. Regular attendance is required. 2. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department. 3. Student Success is the cornerstone of Western\'s culture and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success. 4. Coordinate and Develop Training Program - Supporting Action/Task May Include: Identify curriculum and determine feasibility of customized training contracts. Manage the relationships with BIS adjunct trainers and match trainer skill sets with contract training projects. Collaborate with the BIS performance consultant (sales) as needed to secure training contracts and state workforce grants. Collaborate with the operations staff to schedule and fulfill training contracts. Assist in the writing of training contract proposals. Serve as project lead on multiple training projects in various stages of work. 5. Customer Service - Supporting Action/Task May Include: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with businesses in the Western Technical College region. Ensure customers receive requested products and services in a timely fashion. Be actively involved in the contract training process to include problem solving and contract revisions as needed to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. 6. Assist with BIS operations - Supporting Action/Task May Include: Interview and contract with existing trainers and recommend the hire of new trainers under the guidance of the BIS Director and other BIS staff. Work collaboratively with BIS team on other projects and duties as assigned ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in related field with 2 yrs. related occupational experience OR Education in related field combined with related occupational experience totaling 4 yrs.
