JOB REQUIREMENTS: Environmental Services Housekeeping Specialist Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Housekeeping Specialist to join our Environmental Services team at the Riverside Transitional Care location! In this role you will be tasked with maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness within our facility. What You\'ll Do -Keep our building clean, sanitary and in excellent condition -Cleaning resident rooms and common areas -Collecting and processing laundry -Distributing general linens and personal clothing What You\'ll Need -Exceptional attention to detail -Maintain a high standard of quality and cleanliness -Provide excellent customer service -Experience with cleaning or laundry is helpful, but not required Other Responsibilities of Job: Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers. Sort, count, and mark clean linens and store them in linen closets. Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items. Assign duties to other staff and give instructions regarding work methods and routines.
