JOB REQUIREMENTS: 2ND SHIFT GRINDER HELPER - 1186422500 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Overview The Grinder Helper facilitates the Grinder in maintaining the proper blend of cheese product. Job Responsibilities * Read blend sheets and follows instructions that may be given on the blend sheets to standardize blender. * Scrape any mold found on cheese and deposits mold in detained product tubs. * P ractices good housekeeping of work areas and grinder office. * H elp Slurry and Slurry helps Grinders and other co-workers when they are available. * Fill out all paperwork completely and correctly including name, production line number and products ran. * Sanitize lines at start up. * All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures. * All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program. * Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager. Preferred Education and Experience * High School diploma or GED. * Previous manufacturing experience. * Ability to read production schedule and plan and organize workday. * Self-motivated and can work with limited supervision. * Ability to operate a handheld computer/scanner. * Ability to operate various Powered Industrial Trucks. * Ability to manage time and organize work. * Ability to follow instructions and proper work procedures. * Ability to analyze and solve problems. * Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and management. * Good communication skills: verbal and written.
