Generally, this role handles all wing-to-wing tax reporting and tax accounting processes including forecasting, tax provision, compliance, settlement for the legal entities of GE Healthcare Malaysia.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare CIT, WHT and SST filings

• Prepare STAT CIT calculation for statutory financial audit purpose.

• Prepare tax accounting relevant work including CIT/WHT/SST reconciliation, CIT return to provision etc.

• Prepare payment settlement of open tax liability if necessary (e.g., ECI, SST, CIT etc.)

• Prepare cash forecast for CIT/SST and WHT when required

• Closely monitor tax relevant ruling updates

• Liaise with local tax authority on daily tax issue (e.g., WHT receipt collection etc.)

• Assist with all indirect tax operational matters

• Support Tax audit, tax project and other ad hoc as required

Required Qualifications

• bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MICPA is preferred

• More than 3 years of work experience in CIT, VAT, WHT in large multinational firms, accounting, or consulting firms.

• Written and verbal fluency in English and Malay

• Good working knowledge in a multinational environment
