CAE USA INC Senior QA Java - Crew Manager Team in Krakow, Poland
About This Role
Crew Manager Team is waiting for a Senior Java Software Quality Engineer to help us build the best data hub in the industry. Crew Area is a place where you will find an extremely collaborative team and face the challenges arising from the nature of the product.
Main responsibilities:
Manual testing of complex multi-component system
Creates test documents
Monitors test execution, collects metrics, identifies coverage gaps and applies needed corrections
Analyses, improves, and tracks product testing problems
Consults with development engineers and business analysts to resolve problems
Participates in knowledge sharing
Designs, creates, executes, and maintains automated tests
Necessary skills & requirements:
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good English communication skills, written and verbal
Solid knowledge of OOP
Experience in functional and non-functional testing
JIRA or another bug tracking tool
Test process and testing techniques
Software Development Lifecycle (SCRUM/Kanban methodology)
2+ years of experience in JAVA programming (Java 11)
The following will be considered as a plus:
Experience with Docker
Experience with AWS
Experience of BDD
Knowledge of SQL
Experience with web technologies: REST, SOAP, XML, JSON
Experience with databases: Mongo, Oracle
User knowledge of Maven and Git
Working in global and distributed teams
Experience in Fitnesse framework
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent
Location :
Kraków, Tischnera Office.
