This is a fantastic opportunity to join newly established Team in Global Delivery Center in Krakow that is part of the Technical Expert Labs unit. This position will help you quickly grow your career, being integrated in the resource planning assignment and deployments for the challenging technology projects across IBM’s diverse client base. You will get the opportunity to leverage your former Project Management skills while working with some of IBM’s most complex customers and cutting-edge technologies.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Aligning Team Skills with Forecasting: Collaborating with teams to align with a long-term view of skills needs and skill gaps needed in the organization based on project forecasting.

  • Resource Allocation Analysis and Recommendations: Reporting, analyzing and recommending solutions for balancing resource over allocation vs resources that are underutilized by applying your knowledge of skills requirements and the Resource Deployment Life.

  • Pre-Project Planning: Establishing best practice for pre-project planning (supporting the creation of the Work breakdown structure and staffing plans).

  • Relationship Building and Influencing: Developing and influencing relationships with all levels of an organization- from engineers to CxOs- with experience of navigating challenging debate to reach health resolution.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • 2-4 years’ experience and hands on with Project Management

  • Global Services Delivery Experience: Experience in working / supporting a globally integrated organization for services delivery for technology for resource or capacity planning.

  • Team Collaboration in Consulting Business: Knowledge of working within a consultant service-oriented business requiring multi-functional team collaboration.

  • Experience coordinating multi-product teams

  • Experience managing problem resolution

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging, compelling, and influential

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill for managing resource allocation across many technical disciplines for services-oriented client engagements.

  • Brings professional knowledge related to the role assigned and area supported by applying:

  • Time management skills to complete assignments by scheduled date

  • Interpersonal communications and social skills

  • Oral and written communications skills

  • Detail-oriented focus

  • Planning and analysis skills to support capacity management activities
