Jacobs Finance Manager (w/m/x) in Krakow, Poland

For our Global Delivery Organization (GDO) in Krakow we are currently looking for a Finance Controller (w/m/x) who oversees activities related to budgeting, forecasting and monitoring current spend. Will advise GDO management on decisions on improving performance, minimizing risk or capturing new opportunities. Success is measured by financial indicators, reporting capabilities and strong relationships with the managed team and all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts

  • Align with Corporate FP&A Team on goals and targets set for each function

  • Provide management reporting to the stakeholders

  • Cash flow management and reporting

  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

  • Perform ad hoc analysis of financial data

  • Provide support to senior management

  • Advice and guidance on daily issues, such as invoicing, setting up task codes, subscriptions and support on reporting to the local service teams

  • Oversee migration process and center growth from financial perspective

  • Work closely with Strategic Optimization Partner

  • Grow financial and analytical competencies within managed team

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their challenges and opportunities

  • Actively engage with GDO leadership to drive continued maturity of GDO

  • Cooperation with other departments of the company to ensure the correct flow of financial information.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent

  • Proven experience in finance management and driving target results

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong leadership qualities with ability to build an agile team

  • Experienced with work in diverse environment and multiple stakeholders

  • Strong technical skills: Excel, VBA, visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau

  • Continuous Improvement mindset

  • High independence in action

  • Ability to think analytically and solve problems.

  • Fluent knowledge of Polish.

  • Communicative knowledge of English, combined with the desire to improve language skills in order to achieve fluency in communication in speech and writing.

  • Willingness to travel (mainly to Warsaw) if necessary
